Issue #2: Faptastic Games and Where to Find Them
Your guide to finding hentai games on the internet
Happy Valentine’s Day! And welcome to Monmag Monthly, the monthly newsletter for Monstergirl Enthusiasts and Adult Gamers. This month’s cover article is gonna be a lengthy one, so let’s get right to it!
There’s this really cool thing out there they call hentai games, eroge, or sometimes just plain ‘ol “adult games.” They’re like normal video games, but they’re a lot more fun to masturbate to!
Unfortunately, for the longest time, credit card companies and other payment processors didn’t realize how cool such things could be, making it very hard for people to sell those games in most countries. They’re just now starting to awaken to the fat stacks of cash they were leaving on the table, meaning your options for NSFW-friendly game storefronts are greater than ever before! Which still isn’t saying much. Unfortunately, most of those stores still go out of their way to sweep smuttier content under the rug to appease our prudish financial overlords, making it tricky to actually *find* this content if you don’t know what you’re looking for.
So we’re here to help. Below is a list of the best places on the internet to discover, buy, download, or play erotic video games online. (At least, as of Feb 2022. This article might get some updates later on if more good sources come to light.)
Itch.io
Itch.io is a casual indie game storefront. They also sell non-game downloads like comics and music. As such, it’s one of the few storefronts where you can buy adult-only mobile games for android. In fact, I would say it’s the *best* place to look for Android-compatible adult games. If you want to filter for the adult games in particular, try searching tags like “Erotic” and “Hentai.”
Newgrounds
Newgrounds started out as a site to host Flash games and animations, but it’s still going strong as a host for animated videos and HTML5 games. It’s pretty much one of the best places to go to if you’re looking for free games you can play right in your browser.
It’s also an art, animation, and audio portal, so check those out while you’re there!
Steam
It’s Steam. You might have heard of them.
The world’s largest online game retailer finally opened its doors to adult content relatively recently, and now it’s got a pretty expansive “adult content” section hidden away that you need to be logged into a Steam account (and opted into the adult content option) to see.
If you’re really squeamish about being “horny on main” where all your Steam friends can see what you’re playing, you can always make a second steam account, and you can even set-up friends/family sharing so you can still access your normal library while logged into your horny steam alt.
DLsite
DLsite is a Japanese website absolutely packed with games, (and comics, audio, videos, and more) that you simply will not find anywhere else. However, most of the content on it is only in Japanese, and ALL of the content has censored genitals to comply with Japanese law. (With the exception of some pixel art products bypassing the mosaic censorship requirements by nature of already being a bunch of chonky pixels)
It’s more or less the best place for English speakers to buy Japanese doujin games.
Patreon/Subscribestar
This is something of a dishonorable mention, because while these two sites put together are the main way to support, and get access to, many game projects that are currently in development, the discovery tools for actually finding them through Patreon are nonexistent. Subscribestar is a little better about this, but not by much.
So in order to get games from Patreon and Subscribestar, you’re going to need to discover the devs through social media, forums, Discord, or other communities. Then you can follow or subscribe to devs that are working on projects that interest you.
Because of that, I won’t even bother linking to the main pages of these two sites here, just know that if you’re following a game dev’s twitter and see a Patreon link, that is likely where you need to click to actually get the game they’re working on.
On that note:
Twitter
One of the last remaining major social media sites that lets you be horny on main. (at least for now) You can’t actually buy or download games from Twitter for the most part, but a lot of game devs and artists use twitter to keep their fans updated on their work, so you can use twitter to get a steady newsfeed of upcoming releases by following the people working on game projects.
If you’re not sure where to find them, you can use my own personal list of over 100 adult game devs on twitter as a starting point. You can follow the whole list or just pick and choose the ones that appear to be working on games that interest you. Most of those devs will also retweet similar projects from other devs so you can network your way to finding more content from there.
Reddit
Reddit is a giant megaforum with boards dedicated to almost every topic, so naturally some of them are dedicated to adult games. Again, this isn’t a place to download or buy games directly, but you’ll find posts about popular games and links to Patreon pages here.
Some NSFW game subreddits include:
r/lewdgames/, r/NSFWgaming/, r/Adult_Gaming/, r/AndroidNSFWgaming/
Substack
You’re on it! Yours truly will be sending out monthly content recommendations including monstergirl-related hentai games, so be sure to subscribe to this newsletter if you want more of them!
Besides that, here a couple other substack newsletters I can recommend for adult gaming news and reviews:
Lewdgamer
It’s an English news site dedicated to adult games. That’s about all that needs to be said, really.
Visual Novel Database
As the name suggests, VNDB is a database of visual novel games, including the ones that have adult content. And there are a lot of visual novels with adult content. About… 22,500 of them, apparently. Anyway, from that page I just linked you can browse the sub-tags for specific types of sexual content you might be looking for.
TFGamesSite
This is another database style site, this time dedicated to gamers with a transformation fetish. Trying to explain all the themes and sub-fetishes that entails would probably be its own article, but long story short common themes for games there include corruption, body swapping, feminization, breast enlargement, and hypnosis.
F95zone.to
Here’s the site I shouldn’t tell you about, but I’d be doing you a disservice by avoiding mentioning it. I won’t sugarcoat it: this is a pirate site. Our legal department insists that we state: We do not condone piracy, and do not recommend that you partake in “free samples.” But if you were planning to do it anyway, this site is way more polished and professional than many of the malware ridden piracy sites out there specked with dubious ads.
However, the fact of the matter is that F95 is quite possibly the most extensive, and most frequently updated, database of English language adult games on the internet. It’s got a pretty robust tagging system that lets you quickly and easily search for games by genre and content. And then each game page will also have links pointing you to where you can legally buy the game (usually the game’s Patreon page). Personally, I’ve found dozens of games I simply would not have known existed at all if not for F95.
Nutaku
Nutaku is the other site I almost didn’t want to mention in this article, for completely the opposite reason as the previous. Nutaku publishes and hosts some of its own exclusive online games. Most of them are in the style of f2p gatcha games that you usually find filling up mobile app stores, designed to get you hooked on gambling away hundreds to thousands of dollars on premium currency microtransactions and lootboxes. They do have a storefront to sell “normal” adult games too though. Most of those porn game adds you see pop up around the internet take you straight to Nutaku. If you do decide to give it a try, be weary with your wallet.
Fenoxo Forums
Fenoxo is the creator of the text-based adventure games Corruption of Champions and Trials in Tainted Space. (Both worth checking out, if you’re into text adventure games, by the way) but the reason I’m writing about him now, is the “other games” section of the community forum, where you can find posts discussing other games as well as a showcase section where devs can make posts to advertise their own projects.
GOG
GOG (Good ‘ol Games) has a small section of adult games, though they mostly just serve as a Steam key reseller, meaning if you can buy an adult game on GOG you can probably buy it directly on Steam anyways, with a few exceptions. (They carry a few games that are banned on Steam) Still worth keeping an eye on for separate sales and such though.
Indiegala
Indiegala is another storefront where most of what was just said about GOG also applies. The key difference being a different selection of games, and the fact that they frequently have some kind of bundle deal going.
Kagura Games
Kagura Games is a publisher that translates/localizes Japanese games into English. They directly sell their entire catalog on their own website as well as provide the uncensored patches for the games that they have made available on other storefronts (Usually Steam)
Best place to get NSFW iOS games:
Want to know the best place to get porn games for iPhone? Adult games on Apple devices? (And other keyword SEO’d phrases about iBoobies?)
You don’t.
I see this a lot as a frequently asked question but basically the short version is that Apple does not allow adult apps and developers and getting around it is enough of a pain in the butt that it’s not worth it for a dev to spend the time and money to do so. If you absolutely must play an adult game on your iPhone you’re limited to online HTML5 browser games.
So that means the actual answer is Newgrounds. I suppose.
“Hey why is [other website] missing!?”
I prioritized the user-friendliness of this list. So if I know of a site but intentionally left it off it’s either because it’s not that “user friendly” to brand new users that have never been on that site before, it’s centered around a very niche or controversial fetish, or is small enough you’d only learn about a handful of potential games from it. I also decided against highlighting Discord servers due to needing invite links rather than simple website URLs. I made one exception for one piracy site due to the quality of its game search database but I’m anticipating some backlash even for just that, so I’m not going to make a list of every site where you can go to pirate content.
Otherwise, there’s probably some good sites I simply don’t know about, so feel free to send me a message or leave a comment and if there’s a website that would make a good addition to this list, I’ll go ahead and add it.
In the meantime, I hope this list is helpful to anyone looking to discover some new games to play.
And now, on to the normally scheduled monthly content recommendations… after a word from our sponsors!

Since it’s valentine’s day and all, how about we play some tunes with a more romantic sort of tone this time? It should set the tone for this month’s featured content, which are all aiming in more of the ‘vanilla romance’ kind of direction to suit the holiday.
The Monster Under The Bed is a bit like your typical “Girl Next Door” romance about a guy falling in love with his childhood sweetheart… except said sweetheart is… you guessed it, the monster from under his bed. Naturally this has led to some complications.
The comic also has a fair bit of fanservice, complete with monstergirl titties and a couple sex scenes, though again, the emphasis is more on the romance than being a straight up “porn plot.” Which made this a pretty good one to post just in time for Valentine’s Day!
Wolf Girl With You by Seismic is a Japanese doujin game (with English subtitles availiable!) featuring Liru the werewolf from Magical Pokaan in a happy married slice-of-lie scenario with the player. It’s more of an animation viewer to be honest than a game, but they are very well done (prerendered) 3D animations, with a simple repeating scenario (with some variations depending on player choices and some random chance)
It’s available on DLsite, and there is also a DLC available that adds additional scenes and content.
Sparrowl has made some really nice comics about human X monstergirl couples you can read on their Patreon as well as some other well done monster designs you can find on their Pixiv and Twitter accounts.

Question: I’m having family over to my place for the first time and they’re expecting me to cook. Considering I can barely boil water, what can I make to win them over?
Hopefully,
Cackling but Cookless
Answer:
You’re in luck! It so happens that goblish cooking specializes in being cheap, simple, and filling. Granted, a lot of our recipes are REALLY traditional. I think some of them predate us using fire. Goblin guts are their own special kind of monster, so maybe check on the toxicity of each dish before you start cooking. It’s hard to mess up a good “yibnib,” but that’s mostly because it’s literally a pile of meat. If it worked for Rawrby’s, it can work for you.
But if you wanted to go at least a LITTLE fancy, go with the basics. It’s hard to mess up going with the usual meat/noodle/sauce combo. Nab whatever looks good, chop the meat into bits and cook it in a pan until it’s a color you like. Boil the crap outta those noods, and keep putting in a little more sauce until everything’s a new color you like. Mush it all up together and you’re done. Works for last minute dates too! Especially if you got an ogre ladyfriend coming over and you need to carb up for a long night.
Got your own question? Email it to us, send a DM or post it here in the comments and it might get answered in a future column!
And that’s all for now. Thanks for reading, happy Valentine’s Day, and I’ll see you next month!
