Issue #5: It's still technically May!
This month's rapid-fire content feature is sponsored by: Procrastination!
What happened to the May issue of Monmag Monthly, you ask? It’s called Monmag *Monthly*, dammit! Well unfortunately I stalled until the very last possible moment this month since I wasn’t able to finish this month’s featured article in time (First few months I was able to write off the cuff but now I’m getting into topics that require some actual “research” and “journalism,” ack!) But I still have a duty to deliver upon thee a monthly dose of curated monstergirl content (and funky fresh beats!) so this month is just gonna have to be a rapid-fire dose of content features.
It’s still March in *my* timezone. So depending on yours, I hope you enjoy your nearly belated or *actually* belated May issue of Monmag Monthly:
This month’s track comes from Cyber Rift. It’s a jazzy little number that plays as the BGM in your ship. And I might have borrowed a little inspiration from Persona 5 putting it together. (Specifically, the BGM for Cafe Leblanc)
Speaking of Cyber Rift, you can check out the game here:
The Dandy Demon is a simple little slice of life comic about a shy boy that starts dating a slutty girl. But everyone is a hot and/or cute demon/monster of some variety.
FANDELTALES - The Cursed Prince by Derpixon is a very well-made, 17-minute long hentai animation about a shapeshifting demoness. Enough said. If you haven’t already seen it and you’re into that kind of thing, go watch it already. And maybe watch it again if you already have.
Monster girl cosplays are understandably pretty rare. It takes some pretty extensive prosthetics, props and makeup to pull off anything more than the most basic of monsters. So, I won’t be using “cosplay of the month” too frequently, but when I do find someone that’s put in the effort and expense, they certainly deserve the props.
Case in point:
I suppose that in the end, it’s essentially a really, really, REALLY fancy chair, but you’d probably have to buy out Boston Dynamics and set them to work on a multibillion-dollar spider-robot exosuit to outdo this cosplay.
In addition to our previous list of image Booru sites, Hentai Foundry is absolutely a website you should have in your picture-hunting arsenal. Also, your story hunting arsenal. It’s an art community site dedicated to erotic work, where artists and authors can upload their own galleries and users can search through the content an apply various filters to show/hide content to their own personal preferences.
This Month’s covergirl is Yumi the deep dweller. The cover art portrait was done by Kiyoshuki and the above nude pinup (and the original character design) is by SadFlowerHappy.
Blue the Bone isn’t strictly a monstergirl artist, in fact, it’s kind of a rare subject for her, but she really nails that old school 80s anime aesthetic pulled straight from your nostalgic memories. (Speaking to my fellow millennial/gen x aged anime fans at least) I say pulled “from your memories” rather than “pulled straight from the 80s” since it does have higher resolution and modern polish so it stacks up a little better to those rose-tinted nostalgia glasses while some of the actual older art might not have aged as well on high def screens. Anyway, it’s pretty cool to see some of these newer characters in this sort of style:

Sandcastles Luffington
Full disclosure, Sandastles has worked on this very newsletter, writing the part of Garlic the advice goblin. But I’m giving that column a break this month to recommend you go read some of his erotic short stories instead. There are hundreds of them, with frequent subjects including monstergirls, shortstacks, unconventional romance, and sexy wrestling/catfights. It’s hard to pick a starting point.
You could start with one of his most recent stories, about a frustrated gnome that takes advantage of her super-sensitive ass to twerk herself to orgasm to relieve stress at work, Or if you want to start with one of his most popular stories, you could try The Overlord’s Harem, or Ghetto Goblin Girls, which are both pretty much exactly what it says on the tin. If you remember the Goth Ihop and Monstergirl McDonalds memes from a while back here’s a story that’s both of them at once.
And for more peruse his master list of stories on Patreon and/or his list of patron/commission stories as well as his profiles on Hentai Foundry and Twitter.
Rignetta’s Adventure is a really nice top down pixel art action game featuring the self proclaimed “Cutest robot girl in the world” whom buys herself a whole-ass private island to vacation on only to discover that it’s infested with monsters, so she sets out to get mercilessly molested by them beat them up to asset dominance with a variety of magic-powered weapons.
Allright, that’s all for this month.
Now to get right on the JUNE issue so it doesn’t come right at the end again.
Until next time!
